The LiDAR project was conducted under the 2015-16 Coordinated Imagery Program (CIP). LiDAR derived ground DTM and Contours are the primary products ordered by the purchase partner agencies. The source LiDAR point clouds have also been delivered to ICSM Level 2 Classification standard. This standard means that the Ground point classification has been manually checked and edited, but above ground classes have only been classified by automatic processing and have not been manually edited. The use of above ground classes should be made with caution as these have not been assessed for classification accuracy. LiDAR was captured to acheive a vertical accuracy of +/- 10cm RMSE all sites. The classified unthinned ground points were used to derive a 1 metre gridded 2D digital elevation model and 0.5m interval contours of a quality suitable for drainage asset management and hydroligical design.
