Purpose
Forest Management Blocks and Compartments are fundamental forest management units. FORMB25 plays a key role in data storage and retrieval, especially in a historical context. Block and compartment numbers are used in many different records, systems and databases, it is important that the boundaries and the numbering of blocks and compartments be stable over time. FORMB25 and FORMB100 should be maintained concurrently. However, until the FORMB25 coverage is complete, the FORMB100 coverage will be maintained in preference to FORMB25.
