State-Wide Old Growth Survey Grid Centroid

The STATE-WIDE OLD GROWTH SURVEY GRID and STATE-WIDE OLD GROWTH SURVEY GRID CENTROIDS dataset were developed to assist the verification of the presence or absence of old growth forest in Victoria. The STATE-WIDE OLD GROWTH SURVEY GRID dataset is a 1-hectare square grid which has been created in ArcGIS pro 2.3. STATE-WIDE OLD GROWTH SURVEY GRID CENTROID is the centre of each 1-hectare grid cell. The extent of this data is aligned with the Modelled Old Growth (MOG) dataset and 400m buffered. For further information on old-growth verification please refer to the Procedure for Identifying Old Growth Forest in Victoria.
