Purpose

This version is a subset of the cultural heritage sensitivity dataset and does not contain any attribute information. This layer has been filtered on Registered cultural heritage places (buffered point data) and this data is buffered 100m. To representation geogrphicaly "Areas of Cultural Heritage Sensitivity" as specified in Division 3 of Part 2 in The Victorian Aboriginal Heritage Regulations 2018. This dataset was created by DELWP.

Current Design Issues: Sensitivity Data set was filtered on field REG_NAME to select only the records which were "Registered cultural heritage places" and then buffered 100m. All fields were dropped and a new field added with the message "Registered Aboriginal Heritage Places - Consult Heritage Specialist before commencing any works or activities in these areas. ". Future Design Issues: This is being built in model builder to allow the regular update in sync wiht the data supply from Aboriginal Victoria. Related Documents: None

Dataset Source: This dataset is a subset of the spatial representation of "Areas of Cultural Heritage Sensitivity" as specified in Division 3, Part 2 of the Aboriginal Heritage Regulations 2007 and has been derived from numerous data sources. Features have been buffered at varying distances dependant on the definition type. These buffering distances are specified in the regulations. Dataset Originality: Primary & Derived
