The data derived is as accurate as the Landsat and MODIS satellite imagery used and the land use data obtained from the Bureau of Rural Sciences.

Dataset Source: This dataset was derived from Landsat and MODIS satellite imagery and land use data from the Bureau of Rural Sciences. Data were input into the SEBAL software application where evapotranspiration was calculated as the residual of the surface energy balance equation: ET = Rn - G - H where ET is the latent heat flux (W/m2), Rn is the net radiation flux at the surface (W/m2), G is the soil heat flux (W/m2) and H is the sensible heat flux to the air (W/m2).
