Description
The LiDAR Point Cloud is classified into Ground and Non-Ground classes. The data has been classified to ICSM Classification Level 2 (Ground Surface Improvement) for areas within the River AOI (river centerline buffered by 200m). Areas outside the River AOI are classified to ICSM Classification Level 1 (Automated Classification) and include no manual editing or classification improvement. The point cloud outside the River AOI may contain errors and anomalies in the ground and above ground classes that have not been corrected. Anomalies in the ground class will be translated into the DTM product. Proprietary ground classification routines in TerraScan are used to remove any non-ground points and generate an accurate ground surface. Once the ground surface is generated, a manual quality control routine is carried out using aerial imagery, hill shades, cross-sections, and profiles within the TerraSolid software suite to classify the above ground points. The vegetation is auto-classified using the height from ground method. A QA review and supervisor manual inspection is completed on a percentage of the classified tiles within the River AOI.

Comments
Consistent with specification which includes that point cloud classification outside the AOI is not manually edited from automatic classification results. The LIDAR point cloud has been colourised with the concurrent imagery.
Missing Data
Comments
Complete for river AOI.
