Lineage
- Description
- The CHM (canopy height above ground) surface was produced by firstly generating a vegetation elevation surface by selecting the highest LiDAR point present on each one metre cell with classification of low, medium, or high vegetation (4, 5, or 6), and assigning elevation. The DEM was subtracted from the vegetation elevation surface to form the CHM. The CHM was exported to ESRI Floating Point grid Ascii as 1km by 1km tiles.

- Comments
- The data adheres to the logical rules of data structure, attribution and relationships as per project specifications.
Missing Data
- Comments
- The project area boundary was flight planned with an additional 100m buffer to ensure full coverage would be obtained, and coverage was reviewed at the end of each days capture. Classification is validated at multiple stop points throughout the processing workflow to ensure classes are correct, coverage is complete and interpolation is minimal in generated surfaces.
