Purpose:
The wetland landscape profile dataset has two purposes.
1. To provide spatial guidance to assist with the identification of wetland ecological vegetation classes used for Index of Wetland Condition assessments.
2. To assist in wetland classification by providing a landscape regionalisation of wetland type as part of Victoria's wetland classification framework (to be used in conjunction with the WETLAND_CURRENT dataset). The classification framework is described in Department of Environment and Primary Industries (in prep). A new framework for classifying Victoria's wetlands - 2014. Department of Environment and Primary Industries, East Melbourne, Victoria. Publication of this document is scheduled for June 2014.
