Purpose
Geodatabase developed as part of the Victorian Coastal Hazard Assessment 2017 Project. The Geodatabase contains project study area, map output extents and Local Coastal Hazard Assessment extent boundaries. The study area information, includes the 50m by 50m fishnet or polygrid used for the analysis of coastal erosion and inundation results. It also includes the version of the Victorian coastline used in the study based on Coastline_2008, and the coastal secondary sediment compartments used as the basis for analysis processing. The spatial data results for coastal erosion and inundation are contained in separate geodatabases, where the results are presented on the basis of individual coastal secondary compartments (of which there are 23 covering the State of Victoria).
Format
Supplied as a .zip file containing multiple shapefiles, png rasters, pdf descriptive reports and geodatabases. 4
Supplemental Information
Current Design Issues: A DEM with wide general use is required, that is, the DEM must ideally meet the needs of a wide range of users. This implies a need for the highest possible quality model. Hydrological soundness is maximised by using the ANUDEM software. Interpolation is to a 20m grid. For some derivations it may be necessary to interpolate the DEM to a finer resolution. Continuity with surrounding sheets is essential. Future Design Issues: The cell size may need to be reviewed. The procedures may need to be reviewed in flat, featureless terrain where contour data are sparse. Related Documents: None

Conceptual Consistency
Validation for consistency and completeness for all items.
Missing Data
Will be completed on a needs basis, however the DEM can be readily generated for any tile with topological TOPO25 data. Complete Victorian Coastline for the Glenelg-Hopkins CMA Completeness Verification: Complete

Attribute Quality
Attribute values are either consitent with source input datasets, or derived based on modelling process and algorithms documented in project report.
Positional Accuracy
Digital accuracy of coastline and other inputs to analysis process is consistent with the accuracy statement provided with source dataset documentation. Raster based analysis used to assign coastal erosion and inundation parameters to individual coastal assets applies a 50m by 50m resolution grid across the project study area. Values assigned to raster are based on cell majority for vector polygon datasets, and intersection with vector line and point spatial data.
