Recreation Tracks single part features

dataset: REC_TRACK_SINGLEPART
A derived dataset of extracted features from Vicmap TR_ROAD dataset that represents the DELWP-managed recreation track network mainly in State Forest. The tracks have been assigned the RecWeb track ID (Serial Number). The fetaures are dissolved on this serial number to create single part features for each track element.

This data is used in a process that merges track details with information derived from the recweb database. The final layer containing all recweb attriutes is RECWEB_TRACKS and is used in various applications including Mapshare and More to Explore mobile app. This data is not to be distributed or published on its own.

History: Formerly RFDB_TRACK Current Design Issues: Recreation Facilites Database datatsets are currently captured as individual shapefiles which are validated, merged and migrated to the FORESTS schema of the corporate SDE evironment via an Arc/Info aml based process. Related Documents: None

The majority of points have sub metre accuracy. All data has been post processed using GPSnet base stations.

Attribute Quality
Recreation Facility attributes were collected on site. The majority of the attributes are from drop down lists which minimises errors. 
Positional Accuracy
Data has been collected with a Trimble pro XR GSP with an external antenna. The majority of points have sub metre accuracy, detailed in the attributes. The upper limit of accuracy is within 10m for 95% of the data. All data has bee post processed using GPSnet base stations.
