Statewide Plantation mapping

dataset: PLANT100
The data has been derived using a number of different sources to create a statewide dataset of the States Plantations, using aerial photography, satellite imagery, company data, field checking and in some instance the use of Parish Plans. The Portland - Green Triangle area has been completed and is current as of 30 June 2006. Most data is current to 2003, but may contain errors, including omissions The custodianship of this datset is being negotiated as at 2009 with SII - Vicmap team, NR no longer has the role as a Forest data owner as at 2008-09. *Custodianship is being transferred to DPI.
