Surface is used in DEECA ROADS mapshare site. Condition is used to monitor roads from an asset management perspective There are maintenance guidlines triggered by condition on particular road classes.

History: Original data compiled in 2000 from marked up maps provided by district staff within DSE. Relationship to other Datasets: This layer is derived from Vicmap Transport (spatial) and DSE road system (attributes) Relationships are dependant on presence of the DSE route number, or road ID. Current Design Issues: All data is derived from data sourced by Dynamic Segmentation functionality in ArcInfo Relies on Workstation scripts to generate output featureclasses Related Documents: None Refer to documentation for key databases and major data revisions with DSE roads administrator.
