Purpose
Used for the cartographic maps produced by GSV. A secondary purpose is to display points in the Geovic web mapping application and the VSDL where there are no points in the minerals.struc (derived from GEDIS). 
Supplemental Information
History: Points were created during map production processes. Points were added from older GSV maps on an adhoc basis. Some of the points are duplicated in minerals.struc Related Documents: None

Variable - accuracy is specified for each location. Bedding meaurements are generally in the correct location but when more than one measurement was taken per site, these subsequent measurements were offset along strike by the cartographer - so could be up to 250m from their correct location for 1:50k maps.
