Description
Proprietary software was used to generate the DEM from the un-thinned classified ground returns. The solution determines the elevation of each cell by calculating the weighted average elevation of all ground returns within the cell. Gaps of one cell are assigned the mean of surrounding cells while larger gaps are interpolated by triangulation from surrounding cells. The DEM is then masked back to the area boundary and exported in tiles.
