2019-20 Great Ocean Road Photography Project

This imagery was collected to coincide with the establishment of the Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority (GORCAPA) and to support the various agencies involved in the management of road and public land assets along the Great Ocean Road. The aerial capture was designed to provide a high degree of image verticality so that as many ground and nearshore water features remained as visible as possible, supporting accurate feature identification, location and mapping. The imagery compliments the Airborne Laser Scanning (ALS) data that was also collected to support the establishment of the GORPACA and associated land management and planning activities. The imagery consists of 5cm true colour and near infra-red bands and represents the most accurate and extensive imagery data set of the Great Ocean Road currently held by the State.
