This dataset is a simplified and generalised version of the NV2005_EXTENT dataset. The parameters of the simplification and generalisation have been set to produce a a product suitable for mapping at scales between 1:30000 and 1:400000

Lineage

Description
Derived from subsets of the NV2005_extent coverage using the nv_aro.aml process. This aml is located in /project/p_libsup/programs/arc. The SU5 version of the dataset has been generalised using the bendsimplify algorithm with a 200m weed tolerance. All isolated polygons and holes inside larger polygons that are less than 20 ha have been removed.
