dataset: WATER_DROUGHT_REFUGES
This dataset contains the location of 50 drought refuge areas identified via field surveys undertaken by MWC during the recent period of prolonged drought conditions. For the purposes of input to the groundwater-surface water interaction studies, where the drought refuge areas intersect a major waterway, the corresponding river reach has been interpreted as an area of gaining river conditions.
