Statewide data showing Upper House boundaries and names. These are the Legislative Council Electoral boundaries referred to as the Upper House Boundaries.
These boundaries are the result of the 2020-21 State Redivision conducted under requirements of the Electoral Boundaries Commission Act 1982. These boundaries will apply at the Victorian State Election in 2022.

- Vicmap Admin provides an accurate representation of various adminstrative boundaries across Victoria, at a capture scale of 1:25,000. It is used in a variety of applications, particularly in emergency services, natural resource management, planning and development, and digital map publications.

- Relationship to other Datasets: Victorian Electoral Boundaries forms part of the State of Victoria's framework information and is related to other Vicmap framework information. Vertical alignment will be primarily based on associated Vicmap products such as Vicmap Property for cadastral boundaries and Vicmap Transport for road centreline and railway alignment detail. - Dataset Source: The electoral boundaries data set for Victoria (Redivision 2020-2021) was established by the Victorian Electoral Commission on behalf of the Electoral Boundaries Commission. The VEC digitised the state electoral boundaries during the redivision process using various spatial data sets, including Vicmap and Vicmap derived products and Australian Bureau of Statistics data sets. - Preliminary compilation of Victoria's electoral boundaries was by the staff of the Victorian Electoral Commission. This file was then checked by Land Victoria to ensure conformance between the gazetted legal description of the boundaries and their digital representation. Initial maintenance of the data set will look to alignment with the appropriate underlying features represented in Vicmap data sets. Subsequent ongoing maintenance will apply change information as provided by the Victorian Electoral Commission.
