Purpose

A dynamic Victorian database containing houses, sheds, structures, buildings, undefined buildings. This dataset is best used in conjunction with VMFEAT_BUILDING_POINT and VMFEAT_PL_PLACE_AREA_POLYGON to show undefined buildings across the state. It may be used in conjunction with the VMFEAT_FOI_POINT to show the polygon of larger defined buildings. This is a fundamental spatial reference file that describes the feature, location. compatible with Vicmap Features of Interest dataset - no duplication of features

Features where authoritative sources have been identified and data exchanged (Custodial Agreement not finalised) will have a high level of completeness in terms of feature, attribute and classification with their real-world instances. Features where authoritative sources are yet to be identified will have varied levels of completeness in terms of feature, attribute and classification with their real-world instances. This could range from extremely low to high dependant on the maintenance that may/may not have been applied to the particular feature over the last 20 years.
