- Laser Strikes were classified into ground and non-ground points using different algorithms across the project area. Manual checking and editing of the data classification further improved the quality of the terrain model. A thinning algorithm was then applied to remove superflous points not adding to the terrain definition.

- Redundant data from cross strips were used to isolate, quantify and remove a 1.6m height descrepancy in the north/north east section of the project. Additional Photogrametrically derived ground truthing poitns were compared within the north east area near lara. 78 poitns revealed a standard deviation of 0.24m and a standard error of 0.43m.
