Declared Irrigation Districts

IRRIGATION_DISTRICT
Declared irrigation district boundaries mapped by Victorian rural water corporations. Declared irrigation districts are managed
by Victorian water corporations under Part 6A of the Water Act 1989 and encompass rural water corporation irrigation infrastructure
for water supply. The declared irrigation districts in the north of Victoria include the Goulburn Murray, Nyah and Tresco
irrigation districts managed by Goulburn Murray Water and the Merbein, Red Cliffs, Robinvale and First Mildura irrigation
districts managed by Lower Murray Water. The declared irrigation districts in the south of Victoria include the Macalister,
Werribee and Bacchus Marsh irrigation districts managed by Southern Rural Water. These declared irrigation districts service
the majority of irrigation enterprises in Victoria, supporting agricultural production. Input scales vary by water corporation.
N.B. DISTRICT_ID has been removed.
