Abstract:
A dataset depicting coastal protective structures captured by the Department of Primary Industries for the Future Coasts Program in 2011 using aerial photography available in the DSE image repository, known as the Coordination Image Program (CIP). This  dataset was further reviewed as part of the Future Coasts SECAP project (2011/2012). Information on the condition of a number of protection structures is available as a separate (restricted) database that links to this spatial dataset.

The data was reviewed in 2017, adding asset IDs to enable linking to asset management data.

Positional Accuracy:
Sourced digital accuracy from imagery is within 50cm pixel resolution. Vector information captured at approx 1:1000 mapscale resolution. Topological testing was undertaken for shared nodes. It follows that the estimated accuracy of the spatial data is +/-2.0m.

All new features have been populated for api source, capture source and retention of any original DEECA dataset attribute items and values.
