- Description
- Classified Point Cloud: AAM uses proprietary ground classification routines in TerraScan to remove any non-ground points and generate an accurate ground surface. Once the ground routine has been completed a manual quality control routine is done using aerial imagery, hill shades, cross-sections, and profiles within the TerraSolid software suite. After this QC step, a peer review and supervisor manual inspection is completed on a percentage of the classified tiles based on the project size and variability of the terrain. Overlap Point Flag: Class 12: ’Overlap’ was not used. Those points were classified into classes 1-10 and flagged as overlap points (bit flag-4) in addition to being classified. Overlap (representing overage) and Withheld flags were set. Geometrically unreliable points near the extreme edge of the swath were identified using the Withheld flag as per the LAS v1.4 specification classification bit field encoding for PDRF 6-10 and not included in further processing.

- Comments
- LiDAR point cloud is supplied in LAS 1.4 format. LAS files meet expected classification and point density specifications.
Missing Data
- Comments
- Dataset has 100% of the project area.
