Purpose

Vicmap Features of Interest - A dynamic Victorian database of features of interest such as reserves, sports facilities, community spaces This is a fundamental spatial reference file that describes the feature, location and name. This database will assist users in emergency services, asset management, web based search and find, dispatch, delivery and routing, and map production.

Features where authoritative sources are yet to be identified will have varied levels of completeness in terms of feature, attribute and classification with their real-world instances. This could range from extremely low to high dependant on the maintenance that may/may not have been applied to the particular feature over the last 20 years.
