Vicmap Lite - Public Land Classification Polygon

dataset: VMLITE_PUBLIC_LAND
This layer is part of Vicmap Lite and contains polygon features delineating public land areas. The polygons were sourced from PLMMT100PLY. The level of attribute information, the number of features and the number of vertices has been simplified. This version of the vmlite_public_land dataset was created by merging the previous layers vmlite_public_land_su3 and vmlite_public_land_su5. The concept of a Scale Use Code has been introduced to help control the level of detail displayed. Attribute scale_use_code values of 1 are suitable for display 1:1 million - 1 : 5 million scale range. Attribute scale_use_code values of 4 are suitable for display 1: 250,000 - 1 : 2 million scale range. THIS DATASET WAS LAST UPDATED IN AUGUST 2008
