Chloride Sampled GMS Bore Locations
dataset:
GW_BORES_CL
This dataset contains information for boreholes that record groundwater chloride concentration levels sourced from the Victorian
Groundwater Management System (GMS). It could be used in conjuction with the chloride deposition in rainfall dataset (developed
by the CSIRO) to undertake a mass balance analysis to derive groundwater recharge.

- Dataset Source: The data were extracted from the Groundwater Management System (GMS). It contains the following information for 5933 bores including: Location (lat/longitude); Source (whether the bore is from State Observation Bore Network (SOBN) database); Count of Chloride (CL) Readings (the chloride concentration readinds per bore); Total Depth/Constructed Depth/Screen From/Screen To/Mid Screen/Final Depth (final depth was based on hierarchy of mid screen, constructed depth and total depth) Dataset Originality: Derived
