- Description
- Model creation strategy to LOD2.0 textured Object Model has been designed to maximise the model detail available from captured high-quality captured imagery in a semi-automated methodology. 3D building and bridge object were modelling using stereo mapping from oblique aerial imagery with vertical roof geometry extruded down and cut to the LiDAR 1m digital elevation model. Each Object Model has a single texture (UV wrap), automatically generated using best imagery options. LOD Object Model are suitable for use in town planning, architectural design shadow analysis and similar process. Features such as water tanks, sheds car ports etc may also be modelled. Accuracy: Object Model: xy=0.20m/z=0.30m (Measure Point ¿ Project Design) Source DTM: xy=0.3m/z=0.1m (Derived Point ¿ Project Design) Dataset formats: 3dm_DAE ¿ Individual Collada DAE textured Building Object Models 3dm_OBJ ¿ Individual and Merged textured Wavefront OBJ Building Object Models (Georeferenced and Project Local coordinates) 3dm_GDB - Single Esri File Geodatabase, with textured multipatch containing individual Building Object Models 3dm_SHP_Footprints -Single Esri Shapefile polygon containing individual building footprints derived from higher LOD Building Object Models 3dm_SHP_Origins -Single Esri Shapefile point containing Building Object Models centroids 3dm_SLPK - Single Esri I3s Scene Layer Package (SLPK), create from textured individual Building Object Models
