This layer was created to identify "Rail Trails" in Victoria. These are usually along disused railway corridors, with some sections which share a corridor with a tourist rail.

History: The data is based in part on historic railway data maintained by the Department of Transport (DoT) Current Design Issues: The corridor dataset is a simplification of the rail network. The accuracy of some corridors is approximate. There are likely to be some missing elements to the network. Related Documents: None
