Description

Images are captured using the GTech180 camera system. For the capture of 4-band imagery, 2 cameras (PhaseOne IXA180 for RGB and modified PhaseOne IXA140 for NIR) are used. During operation a pulse is sent from the flight management system that synchronously triggers the RGB and NIR cameras (<1 microsecond delay). This results in consistent alignment of image centres. The RGB and NIR image pairs are aligned utilising the software package AeroAlign. Output from AeroAlign is a 4-band lens corrected RGBI TIFF image suitable for further photogrammetric processing.
