Description

The Digital Surface model was generated using first return LiDAR points, excluding high and low noise. In tidal areas the DSM has also been clipped to the coastal low tide boundary, with offshore islands and jetties retained in the DSM. The reason for clipping is the same as described above for the DEM. Areas outside the clip boundary have been coded as NODATA. The DEM surface was used to support the DSM shape around water bodies where there were insufficient returns off water to control triangulation.
