Vicmap Land Admininstration Themes - Cadastral Point

dataset: VLAT_CAD_POINT
Cadastral Point is a point layer belonging to Vicmap Property and consists of data representing Victoria's land parcels, properties and road casements. It is used extensively in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) by the public and private sectors. This dataset s a raw superset of Vicmap Property - CAD_POINT. It shows the current and retired state of each feature instance. It supports feature versioning (UFI_RETIRED) and enables feature editing chaining (UFI_OLD). This point layer should be used in conjunction with the other layers and aspatial tables that make up Vicmap Property. It provides information about horizontal positional uncertainty, facilitates the identification of objects built on survey adjusted data and provides a spatial linkage to Vicmap Survey

Positional accuracy Points are created are using a 0.005 m tolerance. Where the point is associated with a parcel and is linked and is linked to a survey adjusted Vicmap Survery parcel (ADJUSTED=Y) using POINT_ID, the horizonal_positonal uncertainty is recorded to 0.01 m accuracy. Vicmap Survey should be used if detailed information about parcel postional accuracy is required.
