Description
Aerial Triangulation -Initial EO configuration based on boresight-corrected airborne GPS-IMU data from the airborne GPS-IMU unit post-processed in Novatel Inertial Explorer using the nearest ARGN CORS station. -Initial EO error residual estimates were input based on the quality of the GPS-IMU solution output from Novatel Inertial Explorer. -Validation of differential GPS-IMU solution using nearest ARGN CORS station data by comparison with Inertial Explorer's precise-point-positioning (PPP) solution that utilises precise satellite orbit and clock information. -Confirmation that initial EO error residual estimates are valid. -Automated tie point matching with interactive filtering based on maximum parallax, minimum correlation and maximum search window. -Manual refinement of block adjustment with manual tie point review and exclusion. -Final block adjustment with any GCPs included as control and visual review of final solution. Orthophoto Production -Bi-directional Reflectance Distribution Function (BRDF) algorithm on a flightline by flightline basis prior to orthophoto production. -Stereoscopically derived DEM (typically at 4 times image resolution) for orthophoto processing after a review of the completeness and accuracy of the generated DEM. -Individual orthophotos were generated with the (minimum) outer 10% of the image removed. -Photomod Geomosaic for the production of a seamless orthophoto mosaic from the individual orthophotos. -Colour and contrast balance across the mosaic.
