- Description
- Airborne GPS and IMU navigation data was post processed and a boresight alignment adjustment applied using Novatel Inertial Explorer. GPS data was differentially corrected using ARGN CORS station data. Imagery was spectrally optimised to achieve the best possible contrast and colour balance for all 4 bands. To create a 4-band aligned image, the NIR raw imagery is first cubic-resampled to match the RGB imagery resolution. The RGB and NIR images are corrected for lens radial distrotion (as per camera calibration values) and then an automated band alignment process based on the Scale-Invariant Feature Transform (SIFT) algorithm is applied to align the NIR image band to the lens corrected RGB image to produce a 4-band, lens corrected image for further processing.
