2018-19 3D Regional Victoria Towns LiDAR
project:
cip31-2018-19_3d_regional_towns_lidar
The aim of the project is to investigate the feasibility of extending the States's foundation data sets (VICMAP) into 3D and 4D. The LiDAR captured in this project supported the generation of 3D photo mesh and Building Object Model for a subset of the 18 sites/townships. The LiDAR collected through this project forms the foundation for which the 3D models are built and support the visualisation of the natural and built environment in 3D.
Complete site/town LiDAR, GRIDs and Imagery dataset can be access via tinyurl.com/a7q1sype (Esri ASCII, ECW)
In addition LiDAR point clouds and GRIDs can be accessed via Geoscience Australia - Elvis: https://elevation.fsdf.org.au/ (32bit GeoTIFF, LAZ)
3D Models associated with this project can be access from tinyurl.com/3f9x2rfx
3D Models, Lidar and Imagery can be visualised using Geocirrus 3D-GIS Web Application (tinyurl.com/5xk8v2fz) available until June 30, 2021
