Description

The thinned ground data was used as a surface model for the contour generation. This surface model was triangulated. Initial contour line nodes were created on every location on every triangle edge where its height corresponds with a value of the selected interval of 0.5m. Slightly smoothed, visually pleasing polylines were then interpolated between every single node on every one of these intervals. The resulting DGN files with z-elevation values as attributes have been converted to MapInfo and Shape file format.
