The creation of the photogrammetric mesh product was inspired by the high quality and detailed data produced by the Great Ocean Road (GOR) Photography and LiDAR surveys undertaken in 2020-21. Taking advantage of the high quality 5cm Vexcel UltraCam ortho-imagery data collected over the entire GOR, DEWLP in partnership with Aerometrex Pty Ltd, invested in the capture of supplementary high resolution oblique imagery over the cliff coast section of the GOR containing the Twelve Apostles. The resultant high quality data products include a seamless 3D photo mesh available in Cesium, OBJ and SLPK formats as well as sample fly through videos.
