2019-20 Greater Geelong Photography-Eagleview
project:
cip24-2019-20_geelong-Eagleview
Captured as part of the 2019-20 CIP, and initially contracted to Spookfish, this project covers Geelong and Queenscliff with 5cm relaxed accuracy true colour (RGB) photography.
A huge bushfire season and unfavourable weather during the summer of 2019-20 caused many delays with acquisition, and when travel restrictions and social distancing regulations were brought in as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, Spookfish closed up its operations in Australia, leaving the project with some data missing mainly around the Bellarine Peninsula, Queenscliff, Port Lonsdale and Barwon Heads and no operations remaining to process and deliver the data.
Aerometrex Australia bought up Spookfish and and was able to get hold of the data that was acquired and deliver the imagery to DELWP.
There may be inaccuracies with data over elevated features.
