- Description
- High end commercial photogrammetric software and Aerometrex proprietary software has been utilised in the ortho-rectification and mosaicking process. This methodology assists Aerometrex to produce a seamless geo-referenced orthophotography product. Point Classification was undertaken using automated macros and manual changes, especially in built up areas. This data was then checked using a specialised QA environment. A vertical adjustment of -0.1368 has been applied to the data to fit it to control. DEM and DSM were generated using LAStools. DEM was generated from ground and model key points using a triangulated interpolation surface. Hydro flattening was performed on the DEM using a semi-automated method of applying the minimum DEM height within data void regions from a 1m grid generated from all LiDAR returns excluding those classified as water. Contours were generated on a ground-only cloud thinned using a specialised methodology to ensure no bowties or crossovers.
