These are nominated boundaries rather than physical objects. These are exactly the boundaries supplied for emergency response dispatch. 

Conceptual Consistency

Each item in the database is a polygon defining the response area of the VICSES Unit it is assigned to. As such, it should abut another response area with no more than a 1% variance. The exception to this are the polygons for NSW and SA which are only approximate and the polygons for coastal areas that intentionally extend beyond the Victorian coastline by a few kilometres.
