Title: Geological Structure Zones (1:1,000,000)
Anzlic ID: ANZVI0803002834
Custodian:
Abstract:
This dataset contains structural zones of Victoria. These zones were defined by VandenBerg et al. (2000) after an original definition by Gray (1988). Altered by Cayley et al. 2018.
Each zone encompases rocks that are related in space and time or have a similar structural history. The boundaries to structural zones are usually defined by major faults.

The zone names are used extensively in Australian and international geological literature.

This layer may be overlayed with other geological data to determine regional geological relationships.
