This dataset is a simplified and generalised version of the NV2005_EXTENT dataset. The parameters of the simplification and generalisation have been set to produce a a product suitable for mapping at scales between 1:400000 and 1:2000000

Lineage

Description
Derived from subsets of the NV2005_extent coverage using the nv_aro.aml process. This aml is located in /project/p_libsup/programs/arc. The SU3 version of the dataset has been generalised using the bendsimplify algorithm with an 800m weed tolerance. All isolated polygons and holes inside larger polygons that are less than 100 ha have been removed.
