This dataset consists of sections of rivers which have been interpreted as gaining, neutral-losing or variable. The interpretation is based on chemical baseflow separation using chloride and radon.

This dataset contains the location of chemical samples taken from the Avon, Tambo, Nicholson, Mitchell, Ovens and Gellibrand Rivers. Baseflow conditions have been interpolated for each river reach between sampling points.
