  • Vicmap Elevation 1m DEM Footprints represent the boundaries of the LiDAR DEM Collection datasets used in the Vicmap 1m DEM. This is a spatial metadata dataset belonging to the Vicmap 1m DEM product. Like the Vicmap 1m DEM itself, the footprints are also available as spatial web services (WFS).

  • This dataset series is a product of Vicmap Elevation. It contains relief features represented by lines at 1 metre intervals with some areas at 5 metres intervals. Data has been derived from Melbourne Water base maps, converted to Microstation .DGN format and import into GIS. Data is incomplete ie. there are "holes" in the data where for example there are quarries, or large building sites. Datasets in the series are listed below. See their metadata entries for more detailed metadata. Metro Contour 1-5 Metre - Vicmap Elevation (EL_CONTOUR_1TO5M); Metro Ground Surface Point 1-5 Metre - Vicmap Elevation (EL_GRND_SURFACE_POINT_1TO5M);

  • This Product is a decoded version of Vicmap Crown Land Tenure. The model has been designed with simplicity of use in mind. Attributes have been populated with values from the aspatial tables normally supplied with Vicmap Crown Land Tenure. Vicmap Crown Land Tenure is a statewide dataset series that plays a key role in the management of Victoria's Crown land. It was created (June 2003 - Feb 2004) from migrating LCMP layers into the Vicmap structure. Datasets in the series are listed below. See their metadata entries for more detailed metadata. Tenure polygons and descriptors as per Crown Land Management - Vicmap Crown Land Tenure (Basic) (CL_TENURE_POLYGON_DC); Government Roads as per Crown Land Management - Vicmap Crown Land Tenure (GOV_ROAD_POLYGON_DC); Apiary rights and Bee farm and range licences are in their own dataset - Crownland.Apiary, which is not included in this dataset.

  • Vicmap Property Simplified 2 is a modified data model of Vicmap Property specifically generated for Local Government use. It consists of data representing Victoria's land parcels, properties and road polygons and separates out alignments and easment information. Vicmap Property Simplified 2 Content includes · Parcel and Property Polygons; · Parcel and Property Identifiers - parcel descriptors (including Standard Parcel Identifiers (SPI)), Council reference numbers; · Registered and proposed parcels; · Crown and Freehold land differentiation; · Cadastral Road Casements; · Easements (Note: all new easements are being captured for the whole State. Previously, only easements in the metropolitan area were captured. There is no current program to review and capture missing easements); · Unique Feature Identifiers, date stamps and data quality information.

  • Vicmap Elevation 1m DEM is a mosaic product of the latest DEM datasets available from the Vicmap Elevation – LiDAR DEMs collection that meet or exceed 1m resolution and +/-10cm RMSE vertical accuracy. As such, Vicmap 1m DEM represents the single most comprehensive and current source of high resolution, high accuracy ground surface data available for Victoria. Deriving from the Vicmap Elevation LiDAR DEM’s collection, the Vicmap 1m DEM inherits the data characteristics of the source data from the collection. As such, data currency varies according to when the latest data was collected for a particular area. See the Vicmap Elevation LiDAR DEM’s Collection production description for a full description of DEM characteristics including treatment of water bodies, river surfaces, bridges, and culverts. Vicmap Elevation 1m DEM is primarily distributed as web services through a variety of ESRI and OGC interfaces including WMS, WMTS and WCS aimed at supporting as many visualisation and analysis purposes as possible. In addition to the accessibility benefits offered by web services, the Vicmap 1m DEM is published with numerous surface representations including standard monochrome DEM surface and colour hill-shaded surfaces. A series of Vicmap 1m DEM Sample Services offers unlicensed users a preview of selected subsets of the Vicmap 1m DEM. Each sample is representative of a typical landscape setting or well-known location in Victoria. Visit the Vicmap 1m DEM web page.

  • Vicmap Address is Victoria's authoritative geocoded database of property address points. The data includes predominately, but not exclusively, locational property address identifiers assigned by Local Government, considered to be the primary creator and custodian of property address. If accessible, other 'real life' property addresses created and used by the community, but not recognized by Local Government including retirement villages, assisted care facilities, industrial and public housing estates etc. are included. The 2011/2012 audit against Local Government addressing revealed a 97.41% match rate, increased from 92.43% in 2008/2009 following the 2009 Address Completion Initiative. Key validation fields are 'source' and 'source_verified', respectively indicating the address source and date last validated against that source. The minimum address attributes required for a property address to be included in Vicmap Address are road name and locality. However, the principal address details include the unit/house number(s), road name (including any type or suffix) and locality (town/suburb/rural district). Vicmap Address is jointly maintained with Vicmap Property (VMPROP), with every address relating to a VMPROP record, joined through a property_pfi link. Many additional attributes are included, where available, to facilitate use and relevance to the user community. N.B. Specifically excluded are non-property related, and electronic address details such as email, post office (PO) boxes, roadside delivery points (RSD's), roadside mail boxes (RMB's) and the like. Current data model: Version 6.1 (Oct 2016)
